Somatic Breathwork Therapist

About Me

My work is focused on helping people to access the energy of the heart so that they can use the wisdom that it holds to gain a real sense of themselves, their values and their purpose in life.

I began working with themes of change in the corporate and entrepreneurial sectors before spending five years coaching people who had encountered mental health difficulties and, later on, a type 2 diabetes programme to support participants in making lifestyle changes and health improvements.

Along the way, I learnt that challenges of the human experience can be supported by incorporating the body and the breath. Having already trained in anatomy, physiology and massage in 2002, I spent three years training in a body and breathwork technique known as Amanae.

This training, alongside a long-term psychotherapeutic process, helped me with my healing, as well as learning to facilitate others. This has given me a valuable reference point for some of the issues that my clients encounter.

As of 2025 I have accumulated over 2500 hours of Somatic Breathwork and Coaching practice.

I am committed to regular training courses to continue developing and expanding my understanding of work. I believe that an approach of humility is valuable when it comes to this work, and that there are always new layers of experience and understanding to discover. I enjoy working with and learning from people who have reached higher levels of mastery of their profession. I also receive regular supervision.
